Hello! My name is Sean McCusty and I have a reputation in my local community as an experienced business professional. I have a rich background based on my managerial and executive leadership experience in both regional and community based organizations.

I am currently the Chief Operating Officer with Karma Investigation Service, LLC. We are a woman owned, full service private investigation company, providing a full range of services.

Previously I was Alignment Director for the Virginia Department of Labor's State Apprenticeship Agency. In this role I helped organizations understand the benefits of Registered Apprenticeship as well as interacting with other stakeholders to promote Registered Apprenticeships.

Prior to joining VDOLI, I was Business Development Manager for the Shenandoah Valley Workforce Development Board. In this position I assisted business through out the region in attracting, training and retaining a skilled and motivated workforce.

Previously I was the Rapid Response Coordinator for the Northern Shenandoah Valley. Prior to my current position I was Marketing and Outreach Manager for the Piedmont Workforce Network,

I was recently a Sales and Marketing Consultant at Marketing Mojo, a digital marketing agency specializing in search engine optimization, search engine advertising, social media advertising and analytics.

Before joining Marketing Mojo, I was Director of Marketing for Hospice of the Piedmont. I created a new brand identity for the organization including a complete redesign of the logo and website. I also implemented a community education program that increased referrals directly from the community.

Prior to joining HOP, I was VP, Marketing/Business Development with Sperry Marine FCU. This credit union provided a full range of financial services to over 4,400 members.

I was also a founding owner and Senior Loan Officer with Access Home Mortgages, LLC.

I was formally VP and Marketing Director for Guaranty Bank. I provided leadership in marketing, planning, budgeting and promotional activities. I also led the annual strategic planning effort of the Bank.

I previously held the position of VP and Insurance Program Development Manager for Wachovia Bank. I led the effort to introduce the sale of insurance products through the Bank's branch network.

I gained my first management experience with Jefferson National Bank where I served in a variety of managerial positions, ending up as VP and Group Product Manager.
