Sean Thomas
I am a recent graduate of Brigham Young University's (BYU) Electrical Engineering Program and currently engaged in seeking a career opportunity as a Digital VLSI Microprocessor Designer Engineer.
I have a passion for hardware engineering and a strong desire to associate myself with a forward-thinking technology based corporation where I can continue to grow my skills and add value to the team. As a research assistant for BYU's Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) lab, I have gained valuable experience in natural feature detection, image/video processing application, higher level processing tasks and computational cores, utilizing HLS tools such as AutoESL. As a software engineer for BYU's Department of Independent Study, I was assigned to a development team and responsible for creating applications to operate on the iPhone/iPad platform, as well as creating task/process management applications.
