Sean Borg is a television producer and media personality whose career spans both the United Kingdom and the United States. Though he has spent more than twenty-six years in California—dividing his time between Los Angeles and Palm Springs—Sean regards Palm Springs as his true home, while maintaining a deep and enduring connection to the UK.
From an early age, Sean was closely connected to the world of entertainment. Growing up around the industry, he attended the renowned Sylvia Young Theatre School, an experience that shaped his creative ambitions and laid the foundation for his future career.
His journey began in 1992 when he joined Channel 4’s iconic pop-culture series The Word, one of his first roles within the fast-paced television landscape. This opportunity led to his work on The Big Breakfast, where he served as an assistant producer on both programmes, firmly establishing his presence within British TV.
In the early 2000s, Sean headed the London-based PR agency Spirit Media, representing leading figures in entertainment. Under his leadership, the agency became known for securing front-page coverage for some of the world’s most recognisable celebrities. During this time, he also earned a prestigious BRIT Award for his work with the chart-topping pop group Liberty X.
Sean’s creative interests extend to photography, music, entrepreneurship, food, and film—passions that continue to influence and inspire his work.
In 2007, Sean joined TMZ as a producer, developing daily entertainment segments that he wrote, produced, voiced, and occasionally presented, covering many of America’s biggest breaking showbiz stories. His distinctive British voice became instantly recognisable on TMZ on TV and across TMZ.com. He has also appeared on-screen in global advertising campaigns, including major commercial work for Trivago Hotels.
Today, Sean is widely regarded as a trusted and influential figure in the entertainment industry, known for his expertise, engaging presence, and longstanding credibility.
