Sean Breathnach

Seán is an Irish horror filmmaker whose debut feature Beyond the Woods won Best Feature Film in London and Montreal, was nominated for Best Thriller at the UK National Film Awards, and landed in the top 10 DVD horror sales at Tower and HMV on release. The film is now streaming internationally.

His short films have won awards at national and international festivals and were selected for showcase at the Irish Embassy in London. He has served on juries and panels at international film festivals, and his TV series Seminary Lane is currently in development with Silver Mountain Productions.

Seán brings both creative and commercial instincts to genre filmmaking, with a proven ability to connect with horror audiences across theatrical, home entertainment, and digital platforms. He also runs the horror platform irishhorror.com on YouTube.

He enjoys damn fine coffee and good conversation.
