Sean Burns

I’m the founder and CEO of Wingspan Capital, a Canadian group that owns and operates businesses across healthcare, real estate brokerages, property and technology. Our portfolio also includes primary care clinics and a growing real estate services platform.

Alongside Wingspan, I founded Medios (medios.health), a nonprofit initiative focused on connecting underserved communities to healthcare through community health workers, technology and local clinical partnerships. We’ve tested the model in the Dominican Republic, Sri Lanka and India, with the goal of building systems that improve access to care and make outcomes measurable.

I also serve as Regional Finance Director for EO Canada and have spent much of my career building and operating businesses internationally.

I’ve lived and worked in Canada, the United States, the Netherlands and New Zealand, and now live on Vancouver Island with my wife and daughters. Outside work, I’m usually drawn toward adventure travel, sailing, fly fishing, writing, different cultures and contemporary art.
