Sean Carothers

Sean Carothers is the owner of Carothers Construction, a Mississippi construction firm that has operated since 1957. Over the years, in addition to being involved in Carothers Construction, Sean has pursued various entrepreneurial ventures.

He enjoys the challenge of learning about new industries and applying his existing business knowledge to these ventures. With each new entrepreneurial project, Sean has learned more about what works and what doesn’t work in the world of business. As a result of Sean’s diverse business experience and his guidance, he has grown a substantial family investment company and Carothers Construction has continued to remain a viable player in the construction industry into the twenty-first century.

One of Sean Carothers' favorite activities outside of work is bowhunting. Learning how to shoot a bow accurately poses many challenges that hunting with firearms doesn’t. In addition to the general thrill of hunting wild animals, Sean enjoys the challenge of perfecting his bowhunting technique. Learning how to continually improve his skill with each hunting trip continues to excite him and attract him to the sport.

While every form of hunting poses challenges for the hunter, the level of proficiency required to harvest game increases exponentially when hunting with a bow. Therefore, a successful hunt is much more rewarding on a bowhunting trip due to the sheer amount of effort that goes into a successful hunt.

Sean Carothers is also an avid skier. While the thrill of speeding down a mountain is fun and addicting, the challenge of pushing himself to get better each time he puts on his skies is the reason why he has pursued skiing over the years.Aspen, Colorado; Grand Targhee, Idaho; and Alta, Utah are at the top of Sean Carothers’ list of favorite skiing destinations. He particularly enjoys skiing at Aspen Mountain in Aspen, one of the best skiing destinations in the United States.
