Watch my reel

Sean Crespo is a comedian, writer and actor who studied at Emerson College and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

He is currently the field writer and a staff "writer" writer at Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. Sean's first job at FF was writing for Sam's "Not The White House Correspondents' Dinner" during which he discovered his real passion is staying in nice hotels. Sean also recently found how true that famous saying about the Emmys is. It truly is just an honor to be nominated and then lose to John Mulaney in the category Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special. So true.

Sean was honored to help write Full Frontal's “The Great American Puerto Rico” and hopes you'll watch it and donate to a good cause to help your fellow Americans who are still struggling to recover over a year later.

Sean occasionally appears on Full Frontal as the resident douchey bro when called upon to serve, but you can also see him in the upcoming dark comedy "Me & Lizzie" if it ever comes out (it definitely won't) opposite Rob Yang, Lucy Devito and Cathy Curtin, as well as new or recent seasons of Blue Bloods, Gotham, HAPPYish & Red Oaks. And you can hear his voice in the latest campaigns from Huntington Bank, Keurig/Green Mountain Coffee, Samsung, E-*Trade, DELL AT&T and Cree Lighting. Sean's comedy/life partner Carol Hartsell is, in one of those rare spouse-and-coworker-but-neither-murders-the-other coincidences, also the Managing Digital Producer at Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.

To see Sean on stage, your best bet is Lasers in the Jungle, an often packed standup showcase that takes place TBD because UCB Theatre East Village closed in February 2019.

Other credits include featuring nationally for Daily Show co-creator Lizz Winstead, Comedy Central's Weekly Evil, creator of Comcast's Drink At Work Sketch Thing, joke writer for Sherri Shepherd, The Electric Company, ONN contributor, The Roast of Anthony Bourdain, monologue writer for "Viewpoint with John Fugelsang" and NBC's now shuttered Television Without Pity.
