Sean Dempsey

Sean Dempsey born on the 10th October 1991 (19 Years old) is an up and coming Irish Pop artist. He started his music career when he was as young as 9 years old when he would write lyrics and re-record his favourite songs from artists like Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo and many others. He became a lot more serious about music in 2007 when he started writing, producing and singing his own material. His first ever promo track "Breakin' Up" received some attention in late 2008 when Sean was only 15 and was released on the 28th of August 2008 on iTunes Stores and on CD in Tower Records shops around Ireland. The single successfully charted on the download charts (Number 11 on the iTunes Pop 100) in Ireland. He then decided to take a step back, find his originality in music and begin the real hard work. Now at 19 years old he is more concentrated on music than ever. As a young singer he has a fresh outlook on the music scene. His music is a mix of Pop, R&B; and Dance which only means that his songs are full of energy. When on stage, Sean performs like the artists of today - dancing, singing and putting on a show. He has gained a lot of fans from across the world through social networking sites like Myspace, Facebook and Twitter, but he is ready to take Ireland by storm! Even though he is waiting for his big break it doesn't stop him getting encouragement from big names in the music industry, including music producer Sean Garrett, who produced single's for Chris Brown ("Run It") and Britney Spears ("Toy Soldier"), and newly famed music producers The Outsyders who produced the hit track "Womanizer" by Britney Spears. He has along met some well known faces and became the opening act for some X Factor stars like Aiden Grimshaw for their tours around Ireland. Sean is currently studying Journalism in Dublin Business School whilst touring around Ireland with KLUB KANDI at their Teenage Disco's. He has released his debut single "Pretty Girl" onto iTunes and is now promoting the single. Watch this space to see about further releases...
