Sean Dunne

Dublin, Ireland.

Sean is an award winning Irish Journalist with key skills in Radio, TV, Online and Print.

He currently works with UTV Ireland as an online and video journalist.

Sean also works as freelance Journalist for Ireland's largest selling newspaper The Sunday Independent Newspaper

In 2012/2013 Sean worked as a Multimedia reporer and editorial assistant at North America's largest Irish website IrishCentral in New York. He also worked for sister publication The Irish Voice as a local reporter.

Before moving to New York, Sean was a freelance journalist in Ireland. His experience includes working with the national broadcaster RTÉ, TV3 News Ireland, The Irish Times,Newstalk 106-108fm, The Irish Sun newspaper and Independent.ie.

Sean graduated in the top percentile of his master's degree with a first class honours degree in Journalism from the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Awards:

Simon Cumbers Media Fund 2014 recipient. Travelled to Haiti in March 2015 to do some international media work.

Nominated National and Regional Journalist of the year 2013 at The Irish National Student Media Awards. Ranked in the top 4 Irish student Journalists.

Producer of a thirty minute independent radio documentary "Cyberbullying-How the virtual became a reality" which was runner up at the 2013 Headline Media Awards for mental health reporting.
