Sean Malloy

I grew up in Holbrook,NY. A little town on Long Island, where the big city was only an hour train ride away. As a child I had a wild imagination and always had an interest in making my own stories. As I got older, my friends and I made our own little films when video camera's became popular through VHS-C format. I have tons of tapes somewhere in a shoe box of all our stupid ideas and outrageous antics. I started college at Suffolk County Community College where I majored in Communications with a focus on TV production. After I received my Associates degree I transferred to The University of Tampa in Tampa Florida and left the good ole state of NY behind. I received my bachelors degree in 2009 from UT continuing my education in Communications but focusing on Film production, and film studies. I have been working as a freelancer for the last seven years, and have done a lot of work for (HSN) Home Shopping Network as a Scenic Technician and Stage Manager. I have worked with companies making wedding video's and I have shot and edited for various companies in the Tampa area for television, and web material. I have been to the Cannes Film Festival in France, Gasparilla Film Festival in Tampa, FL. and Sunscreen Film Festival in Sarasota FL. I Recently got married this past November 2011, and I now have a step son. My life has been filled of events and at my age, I have more experiences on the way. I am now writing and creating different projects for feature films and web content. I hope to produce some good quality content within the next year and hope to have a feature film under way within the next five years. I am a creator, and a man that likes to dream and act upon my dreams. This economy is not easy right now, but I believe that this day and age the internet holds a new beauty for independent artist such as my self and I hope to see this realm expand to something that we have never seen before.
