Sean Flanagan
Sean grew up in a suburb not far from the Jersey Shore and spent his formative years at the beach, working summers in the warehouse at the Surf City 5 & 10. A born creative—his father is a graphic designer—he got into design at the urging of his high school art teacher. Sean graduated from Philadelphia University with a degree in Industrial Design and has designed professionally for 7 years. His award-winning creative work has proven effective for many clients. Sean is a skilled interactive and graphic designer who prides himself on maintaining his knowledge of the ever changing industry standards of website development. He is a past chairman of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals serving his terms from 2005–2007 and 2008–2009. Sean is a member of American Mensa and the American Institute of Graphic Artists New York Chapter. A self-described geek (not in an overt, needs-to-get-out-more-often kind of way, but more in a knows-way-too-much-about-particular-subjects kind of way), he is most passionate about learning everything there is to know. He claims to have a great deal of (mostly useless) trivia and knowledge floating around in his brain, and is always adding to it. Sean plays lead guitar in a casual band and writes music in his spare time. He loves the New Jersey Devils and hockey in general, as well as the New York Yankees and Giants. He often finds himself enjoying trying to identify the typefaces on menus in restaurants.
