Sean Goode

Sean Goode is a spoken word poet and workshop facilitator
with a keen eye and skill for capturing the commonalities of the human
experience. He uses his pen to convert
life observations in to scripts and then crafts those words into powerfully
compelling workshops and presentations.

Sean's poetic repertoire includes performances ranging
from short historical tributes to lengthier topical presentations (i.e.,
relationships, abuse, love & dream-chasing). Additionally, Sean accepts the challenge of
being commissioned for special occasions & concepts (i.e., wedding,
conferences, conventions etc.). "Poetic",
"Insightful", "Emotionally Compelling" and "Artistically Theological" are just
some of the ways people are describing this new voice in performing arts
ministry.

Sean's workshops infuse his poetic eye as they creatively
engage participants in hands on activities while bringing them to transformational
conclusions. Workshops like "Burning
Bridges" that use Marshmallows and Spaghetti in or "Big Picture Balance" that
use Rocks, Popsicle Sticks and Peacock Feathers teach crucial life skills that
are relevant from the Classroom to the Boardroom

Sean has and continues to serve his community in many
ways. Currently he volunteers in the
roles of Minster and Deacon at Church by the Side of The Road, Chaplain through
Urban Impact at the Juvenile Justice Center, Beach Naturalist at the Seattle
Aquarium and Supervises a team of Outreach Workers in South King County. Sean is a highly sought-after performer/Presenter
frequently appearing in classrooms, concerts, conferences, conventions and
private events. In addition to his
continual schedule of performances, he is writing a book about his experiences
co-parenting his son Samuel, publishing his book of poetry and will be launching
a podcast of inspirational conversation with a focus to a young & urban
audience.

Sean is married to his "Amazing" wife Kimberly and takes
terrific pride in his role of Father to his "Handsome" son Samuel.
