Sean L. Huddleston is a nationally recognized leader on the subject of Diversity & Inclusion. A renowned public speaker, educator, trainer, writer, practitioner and consultant, Mr. Huddleston is a Cornell Certified Diversity Advanced Practitioner with over two decades of experience in assisting organizations with building sustainable Diversity & Inclusion solutions that help improve organizational performance and reach a broad spectrum of organizational cultures and communities. He currently serves as Director of the office of Intercultural Training, Learning and Development for Grand Valley State University (GVSU), where he is responsible for the leading initiatives that provide professional learning and development opportunities that enhance cultural competencies and promote intercultural experiences for faculty, staff and students. In this role, Mr. Huddleston is also responsible for designing, developing and managing a professional development learning curriculum to support the institution's commitment to promoting and integrating diversity, inclusion and equity in all aspects of university life.
Mr. Huddleston is also a Founder and CEO of Vantage Consulting Services, LLC, a professional Management Consulting Firm specializing in Diversity & Inclusion training, development and program/initiative design and implementation. His insightful, engaging and humorous presentation style has provided him with the opportunity secure public speaking engagements as well as assist major organizations with developing and implementing effective Diversity & Inclusion strategies for a wide variety of industries. Among the client list for the D&I Solutions is Cornell University School of Industrial Labor Relations, where Mr. Huddleston continues to serve as an Instructor teaching several courses for the esteemed Cornell Certified Diversity Professional Program.
Mr. Huddleston also has a strong passion for working with and supporting community organizations through philanthropy and active participation. He has led Diversity & Inclusion initiatives through Board of Directors appointments for numerous organizations located in West Michigan and holds local and regional leadership positions with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He currently resides in West Michigan with his wife Tosha, and three sons, Blake, Kyle and Brandon.
