With nearly two decades of entrepreneurial leadership experience in ERP, CRM and Private Clouds, Sean Moreland has worked with such Fortune 500 companies as IBM, AMD, Global Foundries, Lenovo, PayPal, John Deere, Sony, Disney, Abbott Vascular, Cisco, Avnet and the U.S. Army. For the past five years, he has served as Co-Founder & President of San Jose’s Appko, which helps companies reduce dependency on software licenses, decrease large implementation costs and create flexible business solutions. With a robust command of business skills and go-to market strategies, his role at the Silicon Valley firm comprises business development, service delivery, resource allocation, partnerships and sales programs.
Among recent developments, in March 2013, Appko developed and released myCloudPod, the first end user-focused self-service cloud for converged infrastructure from venders like Cisco, HP, IBM and Dell. The company has been developing cloud solutions for converged infrastructure since its founding in 2007.
My favorite trip was In the summer of 2004 where I spent 4 months in Spain and walked the El Camino de Santiago to the end of the world.
