Sean Morrisroe

Entrepreneur and construction expert Sean Morrisroe of Crystal Lake, Illinois, divides his time between owning and operating licensed electrical company Morrisroe Electric, LTD., and supporting a number of community groups and philanthropic organizations, including The Randy Salerno Foundation and Home of the Sparrow, Inc., homeless shelter. As a donor to The Randy Salerno Foundation, Sean Morrisroe contributes to several charitable activities that commemorate Randy Salerno, an Emmy Award-winning CBS news anchor who died in a tragic snowmobiling accident in 2008. Sean Morrisroe’s Morrisroe Electric, LTD., serves as one of a few businesses that sponsor The Randy Salerno Foundation’s organized golf fundraisers and charity events, which include the Golf & Grill tournament and the Strike a Chord bowling and karaoke night. Crystal Lake resident Sean Morrisroe also donates his time and resources to Home of the Sparrow, a nonprofit with 25 years of history serving homeless women and children living in McHenry County. As a supporter of Home of the Sparrow, Sean Morrisroe aids in maintaining the organization’s two shelters and five transitional apartment units and meeting the needs of approximately 100 homeless women and children annually. Sean Morrisroe’s financial gifts to Home of the Sparrow also provide funding for care programs, such as case management and therapy sessions, and for the operation of four thrift stores owned by the nonprofit. Outside of work and philanthropic activities, Sean Morrisroe enjoys golfing, swimming, playing poker, and riding his motorcycle.
