Sean O'Bryan
maritime lawyer and injury lawyer in Birmingham, Michigan
As a partner of the maritime injury firm O'Bryan Baun Karamanian, based out of Birmingham, MI, I have helped fight for the rights of maritime workers, sailors, and seamen all over the country.
Upon graduating from Loyola University Chicago with a double major in Finance and Marketing and a minor in Communication, I attended the John Felice Rome Center for one semester where I studied international finance and business in Rome. Before rejoining the O'Bryan Law Firm back in America, I worked with U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) on pending bills regarding alternative energy sources such as battery-powered vehicles and managing water in the Great Lakes, as well as bills regarding national financial issues.
In my time with O'Bryan Law, I have worked to help defend injured sailors and maritime workers from the negligence of their employers and the dangerous conditions of the seas, helping to earn financial compensation and restitution for the injuries they received that are in many cases life- or career-threatening. Some of the recoveries we have won are in the range of several million dollars, and we've stood up to even the biggest shipping companies and railroad companies in the world.
In addition to my legal and political work, I enjoy spending time with my family of 9, following politics, and dabbling here and there in the entrepreneurial tech industry.
