Throughout my two years at UMass Amherst I have been fortunate to pursue my passions in finance and history. Both subjects have given me the opportunity to further develope my analytical and critical thinking skills.
My participation in the Minutemen Fixed Income Fund has taught me how to evaluate a company's credit and analyse potential investment opportunites in high yield bonds. It also has introduced me to fellow students who share my enthusiasm for credit analysis and finance.
History, especially American History, has always been a favorite subject of mine. My love for history derives from the variety of people, places and events to study and a curisioty in uderstanding how and why our society got to where it is today. At UMass I have been able to challenge myself by taking multiple European and American history courses which have further developed my writing and analytical abilities.
