I'm a New Jersey and Philly native working inside the Beltway and living juuust a bit outside of it in Rockville, Md.

I have worked both sides of the hack/flack divide. I started as a reporter before serving in politics, government and advocacy campaigns. I bring that experience to reporting on the intersection of business, money and politics.

A national story I broke on political spending by insurance companies in 2012 won an award from the Association of Health Care Journalists.
