Sean Ritz is an integrated marketing strategist, marketing automation specialist, entrepreneur, and community leader who helps organizations grow through data-driven strategy, compelling storytelling, and customer-focused digital experiences.
His expertise includes digital marketing strategy, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, marketing automation, CRM strategy, email marketing, SEO, lead generation, WordPress development, analytics, content strategy, demand generation, customer journey optimization, product marketing, event marketing, and brand strategy. Throughout his career, Sean has worked across B2B marketing, hospitality, tourism, nonprofits, live entertainment, and the independent music industry, bringing together creativity, technology, and measurable business results.
Sean currently works in Product and Event Marketing at ASME, where he develops integrated campaigns that drive engagement and demand. He is a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist with professional certifications in modern digital marketing and marketing technology.
Earlier in his career, Sean helped drive the digital growth of Seward Hospitality Group, where his marketing initiatives contributed to millions of dollars in revenue. He also designed and developed the website for The Tufted Puffin, helping strengthen the property’s digital presence.
Sean is the founder of Mad Indie Media, an independent music publication dedicated to discovering and promoting emerging artists. Through artist interviews, editorial content, festival coverage, photography, playlists, and digital marketing, he has collaborated with musicians, venues, promoters, record labels, and organizations around the world, including Record Union. A musician himself, Sean spent many years writing, recording, and performing as the frontman of Surprise of the Century, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges independent artists face. He also volunteers with Blast & Scrap, a Fort Collins nonprofit that supports Colorado's local music community through creative collaboration and educational initiatives.
Beyond marketing, Sean is passionate about building stronger communities. He volunteers with The Phoenix, organizing sober community events that promote wellness and connection. A lifelong advocate with the Arthritis Foundation, he has helped educate families, support fundraising for children’s therapeutic summer camps, and participate in legislative advocacy for people living with arthritis. He also volunteers with A2IM, Cripple Punk Alliance, and Punk Rock Saves Lives, helping expand accessibility within the independent music community and encouraging concertgoers to join the national bone marrow donor registry.
Sean is also a licensed concert security professional with experience supporting concerts, festivals, and sporting events across multiple states, giving him firsthand insight into live event operations and the music industry.
Outside of work, Sean writes and performs original music, interviews artists, travels, mountain bikes, and trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and kickboxing.
