Sean Salsman
Farmington, AR
was born in Ft. Smith, AR in 1982.
I grew up in the following places:
•Van Buren, AR
•Poulsbo, WA
•Honolulu, HI
•Cincinnati, OH
•Spiro, OK
I finally stopped the shuffle in Spiro, OK where I attended sixth grade through graduation. I graduated with honors and went on to attend Arkansas Tech University on a full academic scholarship, augmented by music scholarships for tuba and voice. I tried my hand at being a music education major for a couple of years, but ultimately decided that being back in a high school classroom at age 19 wasn't my idea of a good time. I ended up changing to a Theatre major, shortly before throwing it all away and joining the Army Reserve. That's right folks; I threw away my free college education because of indecision, depression and misdirection.
I eventually (several years later) ended up graduating from Columbus, OH-based Franklin University's online degree program with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Unlike the college education I threw away years prior, this one was not free. I'll be paying for it for the majority of the remainder of my natural life. Regardless, I do have a career in IT now as a Systems Engineer for Professional Business Systems in Bentonville, AR.
I enjoy software development and prefer Microsoft technologies like .NET and C#. I also used to be a professional musician (bass).
