Sebahattin Devecioglu

Sebahattin Devecioglu was born on May 19, 1968 in Elazig. In 1990, he received his graduated degree from Gazi University (Ankara) Faculty of Education, Physical Education and Sports Department.
In 1996 he earned his master degree from the Firat University (FU) (Elazig / Turkey), Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Physical Education and Sports Program, and started to pursue a Research Assistant position at the institution where he earned his MS degree.
In 1998-2002, he pursued and received his PhD degree from Gazi University, Institute of Health Sciences Department of Physical Education and Sports and pursued his Research Assistant positoin and started to lecture at the same institution. He bid for it and became an honorable member of UNESCO Physical Education and Sport Committee in 2005.
In 2002 he helped, and developed the Department of Sport Management at Firat University and as an Assistant Professor he became the first Chair Person of the department and pursued the position successfully untill 2010. He earned his tenure and became an Associate professor in 2013,
He was Visiting Scholar of Dowling College, US in 2011. He was Visiting Research Scholar for at The of Maryland Baltimore County ( UMBC ) in 2014-2015 Sept.
As an NGO Representative at the United Nations Department of Public Information of The Light Millennium 2015. he was academic tenure as an Associate Professor at Firat University, Faculty of Sport Science, Department of Sport Management 2013-2018. He is Board Member of Turkish Youth and Sports Ministry Education and Science 2018-2025 and Board Member of Turkish Association Sports Sciences 2019. He is Coordinator International PhysicalEducation, Sport, Recreation and Dance Congress (Ispescongress) He is Member of International Catchball Federation Professional Committee. He is Ambassador of EPSI - The European Platform for Sport Innovation 2021He is Member of Parliament Asgardia also. He is continuing academic tenure as a Professor of Sports Economics at Firat University Faculty of Sport Science ( Elazig / Turkey)
