Sebastian Wooff
Student in Bristol, United Kingdom
Hi my name is Sebastian.
I am a proactive, diligent and enthusiastic individual currently studying Politics and International Relations at the University of Bristol.
Aside from my studies I take a keen interest in climate change and renewable technologies. I believe that it essential that we move towards a greener economy and I would love to personally contribute towards achieving this goal. The commercialisation and integration of renewable technologies into our economy is something that must occur if we are to work towards a greener economy. The UK Government has an important role in this process and I am determined to play a part.
I love a challenge and have embarked on several expeditions in the past. Over the summer of 2014 my father, brother and I cycled the length of France, over 750 miles in 10 days, with the aim of raising money for the charity Help for Heroes. More recently in May of 2016, I successfully organised a trip to Nepal with the aim of trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in the Himalayas.
I am also passionate about sport and am an active member of the University of Bristol Men's and Mixed Lacrosse Club. During my first year as a member of the club I was awarded the captaincy of the Men's 2nd Team and elected onto the club committee as Men's Vice-Captain for the academic year 2017-18.
My aim is to gain internship placements and work experience in all sectors, with particular focus on the Civil Service, Government Relations and Renewable Energy.
