Sébastien Vidal is a radio DJ and the program director of TSFJAZZ, the only 100% french jazz radio. A radio with 1 million listeners. SV is also the artistic director of « le Duc Des Lombards », booking almost 285 concerts a year and making 29.000 average tickets sold. He is heading the outside production the club is doing at Olympia or La Cigale with artists like Herbie Hancock, Ahmad Jamal or Ramsey Lewis. Member of the Django Reinhardt Festival Association in Samois-Sur-Seine (50 km south of Paris), he is heading the programmation of this 43 years old outdoor (gypsy, guitar & jazz) festival. In 10 years, this event went to 8000 tickets sold to 20.000 tickets today welcoming over 200 artists including internationals healiners like George Besnon, Paco De Lucia or Goran Bregovic. He is also a writer, signing a monthly article for the french jazz magazine, « Jazz News ». He worked in different newspapers including Jazzmagazine, Jazzman, l'Humanité Dimanche or Le Monde Magazine. In télévision, he is a director for documentaries for Orange Cinema Series channel (Le Retour de la Pin Up (56'), Spécial Miles Davis (26')) Vidal works as a jazz cultural consultant for the french news chanel I Télévision and he is hosting the french jazz grammy celebration (Les Victoires du Jazz) for the public national TV France 3. He is a member of the French Jazz Academy and he was a professional jazz guitarist, works with artists like Clark Terry, Fabrice Eulry, Michel Pastre, Al Casey or Buba Brooks and played in many international festivals.
