Seb Weller

Seb founded WMA in August 2013 after 12 years at Sony Music (BMG prior to the Sony BMG merger) where he worked in a number of digital roles. His most recent role was Digital Strategy & Marketing Director for Sony Music UK, which saw Seb overseeing digital marketing strategy for Sony's wide roster of artists including the likes of One Direction, Daft Punk, Olly Murs, Justin Timberlake, Paloma Faith and Beyonce to name a few. In the past Seb had also helped setup the Sony Music digital business including the mobile and fixed line activity. Seb and his previous team of twenty-three digital specialists were focused on delivering best in class digital marketing activity based on insight and strategic planning. Key areas included official digital touch points, social media strategy, digital partnerships, CRM, mobile initiatives, digital pr & digital advertising. In addition to being appointed the youngest director at Sony Music in 2009, Seb has also picked up 7 Digital Music Awards and was also featured as the youngest entry in Marketing Magazines Next Generation Power 100. He's also previously been a BIMA chair entertainment judge and shortlisted for a Revolution award along with being featured in the 2013 BIMA Digital Hot 100.
