Welcome!

My name is Sylwia Dziedzic and I'm a second-year Information Management graduate student at Syracuse University specializing in information security and data science. During my undergraduate studies also at SU, I graduated with a dual degree in Information Technology and Marketing Management with a minor in Writing and Rhetorical studies. My experience as a student at Syracuse facilitated the "scholar in action" within me. "Scholarship in Action", or the university's commitment to sustaining and engaging local and global communities, has molded me into a student who is culturally diverse as a member of various organizations on campus, intellectually expressive in my analytical problem solving, and passionate about digital branding.

My analytical, organizational, and technical skills are evidenced through my past work experience with local start-ups, Brandyourself.com, The Institute for Veterans and Military Families, and Syracuse University Press. Throughout my three months with Brandyourself.com, I felt greatly responsible for producing quality content which established my credibility in the market of personal branding. Both experiences have taught me to convey professionalism, confidence, and enthusiasm. An important takeaway from both experiences was the value of networking and personification to humanize employees to make clients feel at ease.

In 2011, I created a professional website for Angel Falls Coffee Company which was coded and published. In the same year I redesigned the website for the Syracuse Poster Project, which helped to propel the project's social mission and attract more traffic and donors. Since then I've published websites for clients who have reached out to me.

My passion lies in innovation and brainstorming ways to become more entrepreneurial. Currently, I am a graduate assistant for a preliminary information tehcnology course at Syracuse University. I create weekly labs as well as oversee three projects each semester for 250+ students. I also run my own cleaning business in the northern NJ area. In May of 2014 I will graduate with a MS in Information Security Management and will be joining Ernst & Young as a Risk Advisory Consultant.
