I'm the IT User Services Manager at Hallam University in Sheffield, where my helpdesk and service desk teams support 35,000 staff and students in their use of IT. My first career was in EFL and I worked in Italy and Japan for 7 years. In 1999 I returned to the UK to work in higher education, in e-learning and training before moving into management. I live in Manchester and also work for INTEC Japan in Tokyo.

Away from work I'm kept busy by my three young kids. Any spare moments I get are spent supporting Norwich City and watching really big planes pass my front window. The picture above is me following Trinidad & Tobago at the 2006 World Cup. I don't normally wear face paint.
