For the Lord himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Many modern churches do not believe the whole Bible. How can one pick and choose which scriptures to believe? All scripture is God breathed and inspired of the Holy Spirit whether one chooses to receive it or not. We will all stand before a Holy God to be judged for what we said and did in our mortal bodies.

Jesus will be our Advocate if we have believed by faith that He is the the only begotten Son of God, have received what He purchased for believers at Calvary with His precious Blood. and believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Roman 10:9-13 says that If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God (His Father) has raised him from the dead, we shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Whoever believes on Jesus (as Lord and Savior) shall not be ashamed. There is no difference between the Jew and Greek, (God does not favor one race or nationality over another) for the same Lord is rich unto all that call upon Him. Whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord (Jesus Christ) shall be saved.

What does saved mean? The Holy Bible speaks of wrath and judgment on those who after having heard the plan of Salvation have rejected it. They have rejected the sacrifice of God's only begotten Son on the cross of Calvary for their sin. The scripture says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We can repent of our sin and choose to accept and follow Christ the best we can with the help of the Holy Spirit. Then when judgment comes upon the earth during the tribulation we will be spared because we have been saved by faith in the atoning Blood of Jesus Christ.
