In a career that spans both the public and private sectors, I have experience in multiple sectors. In the private sector, I developed policies and created successful programs that delivered significant business and civic value for the communities I served.

I am a graduate of UC Davis with a B.A. in 2006, where I majored in 20th-century history. After graduation, I was hired as an intern with Retail West, a Bay Area Commercial Real Estate company. It was a good introduction to the workforce and helped me gain experience. Some of my tasks were to Analyzed data on potential locations for client businesses and reported the results to company owners.

I went back to school and graduated with a Master of Arts from Aarhus University, where I majored in political science. I was hired as a project developer at Global Citizen, a worldwide organization focused on philanthropy. I worked with an international team to assist the company to achieve global reach.

I joined the City and County of San Francisco Human Services Agency in 2018 as a Public Assistance Specialist.

Prior to San Francisco, I was a Public Assistance Specialist for the County of Marin, in San Rafael, CA. I interned at Californians for Pesticide Reform. During my tenure at the County of Marin, I gained extensive knowledge of Medi-Cal (Medicaid, ABD, MAGI), CalFresh (SNAP), CalWORKS (TANF), CMSP, Temporary/Permanent Homeless Assistance, and Affordable Care Act program

I currently live in San Francisco, California.
