Welcome to See The Blue Bird! I am Alaa. I am married to my knight in shining armor (in real life he is dressed in scrubs), a mother to five wonderful human beings, a sister to four wild and crazy men (one of them actually designed this website), a daughter of two wonderful parents (who taught me that good in not good enough), and above all a devoted servant to Allah.

I am sure you are wondering about the Blue Bird. Well, not to disappoint you, but there is no blue bird. The Blue Bird is a symbol of courage, perseverance, and determination. I got to know The Blue Bird because of my son. For two whole years, he devoted a visit to a tile with a picture of a blue bird every physical therapy session. He always worked hard to get to see the blue bird at the end of his sessions. So, there you have it.
