I am a MSc student at the University of Alberta, specializing in structural geology. My thesis is on LiDAR-assisted mapping and the deformation history of Crowsnest Pass. It includes LiDAR-improved mapping, which is used with strain analysis to determine how a fold develops. Results will be relevantly applied to thrust-fold relationships, which indicate subsurface geology. I am eager to apply my knowledge and education in the practical setting of the petroleum industry.
