Sehaj Sahni is a trailblazing social entrepreneur and youth advocate who has redefined civic engagement for India’s next generation. As the Founder and CEO of Indian Youth Café, he established "Urban Desi House" in Chennai—the country’s first youth-centric café and a safe haven for creativity, dialogue, and growth. His work has impacted over 57,000 young people, bridging the gap between grassroots activism and professional development. Furthering his commitment to the planet, he founded Environmental Rave (environmentalrave.org), an intellectual property of the Indian Youth Café that leverages culture, sound, and technology to foster environmental resilience and ecological literacy.

A prominent voice in global policy, Sahni has been a fierce advocate for a global-standard National Youth Policy (NYP) in India. He served as an individual specialist for UNESCO MGIEP, where he co-authored reports on preventing violent extremism and has actively critiqued the shift from participatory youth frameworks to state-led models. Through his #Youth440 campaign and research into "Youth Café as a Service," he has consistently pushed for the creation of standardized, physical safe spaces across India that align with the UN’s Decade of Action for the SDGs.

Sahni is also a multi-disciplinary creator who blends advocacy with the arts. He is known for his DJ remixes and visual storytelling, which can be found on YouTube at Environmental RAVE, where he explores themes of cosmic harmony and social justice through music and film. Whether he is producing cultural commentary or leading social experiments like "young weirdos meetups," Sehaj remains a relentless force behind the "youthquake" needed to transform India's future.
