Hello, I’m Neo, a professional freelance makeup artist - at your service. I am a dynamic and young creative, who is the founder of Kalón Studios.

Kalón Studios is a fully mobile beauty studio that provides services in makeup artistry & eyelash extensions. We are an Independent Professional Makeup Artist & Aesthetician Model business based in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have always been passionate about art and it’s no surprise that I fell for the most exquisite expressions of art - makeup. I specialise in a wide range of beauty services including Glam Makeup, bridal glam, editorial, eyelash extensions & massage therapy. However I acquire expertise in other genres.

Long story short, after having to take a gap year due to outstanding University Fees, I stumbled & Fell in love with the beauty industry in 2018 through indulging in content by Beauty YouTubers like Uche Natori, Kiki Adams and our very own Mihlali Ndamase. Started practicing on myself, friends and family. In 2019 , I decided to take a short makeup course and that is when I realised I was on the right path. This is where I took a leap of faith to pursue makeup artistry full time.

There on I was blessed to study further into a diploma in makeup artistry and design & obtained an international diploma in the same year 2020.

I’m currently internationally accredited by CIDESCO and that is one of my best qualities.
