Sehrish Khan

I am an Honours Commerce student at DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University with a focus in Accounting and pursuing a minor in Economics. I am an Aspiring Chartered Accountant and Business Manager.

I spent 16 months (May 2015-September 2016) at RBC Capital Markets as a Business Systems Analyst. I worked closely alongside developers, traders, and senior managers to support the trading of commodities. I am currently a Teaching Assistant for Intermediate Financial Accounting II (Commerce 3AB3).

Newly inspired by the world of psychology, I am passionate about discovering the psychological factors that affect consumer behaviour. I am a co-author of Design of Influence (www.designofinfluence.com). It is a book on how successful companies use principles of psychology to design applications and positively persuade users. I am also an avid volunteer and am always looking for opportunities in social activism.
