Sonny Eichler

Hey! What's up? nice to meet you! You look great. Hey, my name is Sonny Eichler....and yes it's a real name! Every time I meet new people, they always have that look on their face thinking if I'm playing a prank on them. I explain to them that my last name is German and my first name is named after the famous surfer, Sunny Garcia but my parents decided to put an "O" in there instead. Enough about my name and more about my dreams and goals.

Film can represent who you are and how you perceive the world to make your story. What's your story?

I am a young film maker who dreams about becoming a professional director as this has always been my dream. I am fulfilling this dream by studying tertiary education to give me more know- how. I love everything in the filming spectrum as each piece supports each other in creating the director's vision.

The best part about filming is that you can film whenever and however you want. You can make a professional film for a company or just mess around with your mates in the backyard and have a good laugh.

Me personally, I keep a film journal whenever I have a film idea/plot twists, I jot it down for later projects and later inspiration. I will share future works.
