Sekar Rasnesya

Sekar Rasnesya Hakim, also known as Sekar or Nessy, is a 19 years old international relations student at Universitas Slamet Riyadi, Surakarta. Sekar has a huge passion for traveling, especially exploring and discovering Indonesia’s beautiful oceans and islands. She also has a passion for learning new things such as culture and language. Both passions were one of the reasons she majors in international relations.

Back in middle school, Sekar was chosen to participate in the Generation Global video conference. As for this moment in college, she is participating as one of the members of BEM and has virtually participated in Global Millennial MUN as a delegate.

Throughout her school life, Sekar is known as someone who loves to participate in varieties of school activities such as choir, band, art club, scout, martial art, etc. She even becomes the club leader in some of the activities. She’s also often chosen to be part of the school events performance. Besides the activities, she participated in many competitions and even achieved some awards, which are at a band competition, robotic competition, business competition, etc.

Due to her passions, Sekar’s dream goal is to travel around the world, so she could introduce the varieties of cultures and beautiful landscapes that Indonesia has, also learning their cultures and seeing the beautiful landscapes they have in return. She also dreams to be able to help people around the world. To do so she hopes to one day participated in world organizations, such as UNICEF or UNESCO.
