Srećko Šekeljić

In the past decade, Srećko Šekeljić led and advised a number of advocacy campaigns on human rights issues, citizen participation, and government transparency. He also took active role in drafting laws and policies, including the Serbia’s Higher Education Bill and National Youth Strategy. Within the Institute for Sustainable Communities, Srećko managed its Innovation Fund and USAID’s grants awarded to civil society organizations. Previously he also served in the Office of the President of Serbia. Srećko blogs about politics and activism for B92, a Serbian national broadcaster, and was a co-founder of Balkanist, a regional media startup.
