🎓 Academic Profile

Hi 🙂 I’m Seleka Selamolela, a third-year Bachelor of Education student at the University of Johannesburg, specializing in English (my first major) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) school support. My academic journey is driven by a deep passion for language, digital learning, and student empowerment in the modern classroom.

My interest in computer games, reading, and early exposure to AI & Robotics for the Future in 2018 strongly influenced my career path. These experiences nurtured a love for innovation and sparked my commitment to integrating technology and creativity into education.

This journey later led me to complete the FNB App Academy in partnership with IT Varsity, where I earned a certificate in Full Stack Development 🖥️—equipping me with practical coding skills and a solid foundation in software development.

💡 Personal Interests & Vision

Outside the lecture halls, I enjoy a variety of interests including books, music, sports, and the occasional game of bowling 🎳. I find joy in activities that challenge both my mind and creativity.

As a future 21st-century educator, I envision the classroom as a vibrant space for dialogue, inspiration, and collaboration. I believe in not only teaching but also learning from my students—cultivating an environment where ideas flow and growth is mutual. I continuously participate in university initiatives and development opportunities to strengthen my role as a future leader in education.
