I hold wood in my hands, I strike metal and plastic things and I make noise. Via a technique known as granular synthesis I create textures, soundscapes and arpeggiated motives from everyday sounds such as voice, environmental sounds or audio samples. With a hybrid setup I try to organize and bond together in real-time the complexity of organic grooves with the impact of electronic elements in such a way that a new form of musical energy created. I don’t call the end result as piece or song but rather an idea that moves and forms, within just a couple of bars, between music types and styles.
