To me, there’s something so incredible about concerts. Whether it’s the energy of all the fans in the crowd that seem to know every word to every song, or the flashy lights and intricate details that go into each performance. Or maybe it’s the strong, live vocals and instruments from the artist or the gentle, acoustic sets with heartfelt meaning. Whatever it may be, I have adored it for as long as I can remember.
Growing up in an artsy and eccentric family, I was bound to become a huge music person, just like my parents - and more specifically, like my siblings, a major concert goer.
Although I do not remember it, my first concert was before I could even walk (I originally saw a band called “Tonic” all the way back in 2005!). Since then, I have been to over 25 concerts and have loved every single one.
I have travelled to almost all of Georgia’s surrounding states for concerts, and I have attended a concert in New York as well. I love having the opportunity to meet others that share my excitement for a particular musician, and I adore interacting with people from all walks of life. I think it's beautiful that we have somehow all ended up in the same place with our own reasons for being there, simply because of our love for someone's art.
