In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Semasa undertakes significant and specialized duties as the Head of the IT Unit and Manager of the Senator Gbenga Ashafa E-Resource Center at CMS Grammar School, Bariga, Lagos. This center is an accredited computer-based testing (CBT) facility recognized by several prominent organizations, including the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), the West African Examination Council (WAEC), MIVA Open University, and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). Semasa's expertise enables him to facilitate external examinations for these esteemed institutions, ensuring smooth and secure examination processes while upholding the school's reputation for academic integrity.
Beyond overseeing the online portal of the first secondary school in Nigeria in his capacity as the IT representative, Semasa’s IT skills significantly benefit both students and staff. He plays a crucial role in supporting students with practical computing skills during hands-on sessions. Recognizing the importance of IT literacy among staff members, Semasa provides training and assistance to enhance their technical proficiency, especially during pre-resumption meetings.
