We are students of PNEC, a college of one of the top ranked universities of the world, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) . Being mechanical engineers, it is our objective to excel in our field and show the world how mechanical engineering work. We, a group of engineers (to-be) united in a team for Shell Eco Marathon 2012 are working day in and day out just to prove our mettle. The idea was initiated by our supervisor and mentor GP capt(R) Shoib and implemented by us. We aim to manufacture and fabricate an eco friendly car that is to run at the Shell Eco Marathon 2012 and make our college and our country proud. It is a great platform for us to showcase our talent and gain practical knowledge and that’s why we don’t want to leave any stones unturned. We realize that it is not only about our talent it is also our university’s and country’s prestige. We further divide ourselves in to sub teams according to each member’s area of expertise. From designing and manufacturing to sponsorship and marketing, we have all the sub teams divided and everyone is working sufficiently in his respective departments. We underwent and still undergoing a lot of hurdles to achieve this goal but hard work is our key and we’re trying to make it happen with devotion, determination and hard work taking inspiration from our seniors (2009 and 2010). We shall live up to the expectations of everyone and achieve success and set an example for all engineering students. This will motivate them to gain practical knowledge in their area of interest at an early stage during their bachelors. We would like you to wish us luck for this project and future as well.
