A little background on our calling: Laura served as a missionary in Bangladesh for a few years before returning back to the U.S. Shortly after our marriage in 2016, we had the opportunity to serve in various areas of the local church. More recently, we were sent to Thailand to serve a planting effort there. Through this time, the Lord grew our passion to plant a church.

The enemy is at work, moving a false gospel throughout the United States while pulling the culture further and further from God. Somehow, the enemy has found a way for people to be deceived using even the word of God. What I mean is that there are certain religious groups that preach a false gospel of Jesus Christ. They look like followers of Jesus, they say they are followers of Jesus, and they even claim salvation from his sacrifice. Yet, there are pieces of their message that dilute the truth and add to the cross.

But there is good news! While the enemy is at work, our Lord is at greater work! The best way that Laura and I can use our gifts against the enemy is to join the effort to plant and duplicate the true gospel of Jesus Christ!

We are living in Arlington while we complete our training and preparation through the North American Mission Board and our home church, Lake Arlington Baptist Church. Please pray for us.
