As a child, my parents firmly believed that I was a "dabbler" who couldn't stick to any one thing long enough to become good at it. As I grew up, I continued to jump from interest to interest, much to the chagrin of my parents. Yet despite my so-called lack of focus, I somehow managed to become a published game designer, an accomplished musician and DJ, and a skilled Occupational Therapist. And even in things like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a martial art that I have studied for under two years, I have managed to win the Provincial championship for my weight class and belt ranking. Not bad for someone who was dragged to a child psychologist in order to determine why he couldn't focus on anything.
