I'm from a small town with parents that I hope are proud of me, the work I have done, and the family I am raising. I credit any success or happiness I have as a husband, father, and teacher to the work ethic and patience they modeled for me. My father worked unbelievably long hours; my mom first raised a family, then put herself through school. Probably due to their example, I have worked up to four part-time jobs at a time and continue to look for opportunities to grow, stretch and improve. Being a husband to a bright, talented, beautiful woman changes me every day. Being a father to three great kids changes me every day. Being a teacher and working with the students at Port Huron Northern changes me every day. All of that makes me want to be better every day.
