Seonkyoung is a media researcher and a communication scholar. Her specialties include Statistics, Advertising and Consumer Research, Market Research, Network Research, Entertainment Media, and Public Relations Research.
She earned her Ph.D. in Mass Communication & Information Sciences at The University of Alabama in 2009. She currently works at Media Research Labs, LLC as a research fellow examining the effects of advertising models, evaluating programs and conducting usability evaluations on a variety of media platforms. She has been involved in study design, planning, executing, and reporting for 150+ studies affecting clients' business decisions in a dynamic and fast-paced industry environment. She also trains research staff on study procedures, basic data coding/cleaning/analyses, and statistics.
She is a certified SPSS data analyst and has published twelve refereed articles in various communication journals and presented more than twenty academic papers at major communication and advertising conferences.
