Serah is passionate about where Africa is going and the path it takes to get there. She is an international development practitioner with over 10 years experience working in the climate change, renewable energy, water and agribusiness sectors in Africa. She is a firm believer that innovation and entrepreneurship will solve most of Africa's challenges and largely contribute to development. She is passionate about working with small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) developing clean technologies.

Currently, Serah is providing research and policy advice to start-up enterprises in Kenya. Her position provides her with an opportunity to contribute in the development of sector policies and regulations where she represents the concerns of SMEs and the private sector working in cleantech . She sits in various policy working groups.

Serah excels in initiating and building strategic networks and she engages widely with key stakeholders in government, private sector, academia and the civil society. Her vast experience in development has provided her with strong analytical and writing skills including interpretation, publishing and dissemination of research outputs for different audiences. She has published widely.

Serah is keen in engaging with initiatives geared towards providing innovative solutions to global challenges.
