I was born and raised here in Georgia in the Marietta area, but now I live close to campus in Kennesaw. My parents and family expect me to take opportunities that make me happy and that will help me achieve my longterm goals.

I speak Spanish fluently, and I am Mexican-American so it is an important skill to have in my family so I would be able to speak with most of my family members. Now I am proud and grateful that I grew up in a bilingual household because I will have more opportunities to reach out to a bigger community with English speakers as well as Hispanics in my future career as a clinical psychologist.
