Help. The dictionary defines it as a means to “give or provide what is necessary to accomplish a task or satisfy a need; contribute strength or means to; render assistance to; cooperate effectively with; aid; assist.” These are things that I love to do, and it is my hope that I can dedicate the rest of my life into doing so.
Hi, my name is Serena. How may I help you?
I am a university student pursuing a double degree in Psychology and International Marketing. Whether it’s helping the person next to me or a whole community, this is what I strive to do. I feel that the concept of helping is slowly fading away. In the chaotic busyness that is our lives, we never take the time to notice the little things in life—it’s always about our own lives, as if our world consists of a bubble of ourselves.
As a child, I loved to find the happiness in anything and everything. Now as a young adult, I strive to keep the happiness flowing. There is so much unhappiness in the world or reasons to be unhappy, it’s so much harder to find that happiness to maintain that equilibrium of living a fulfilling life, balancing both the good and the bad.
People should always feel loved, find happiness, and always feel included. People should do what they love, and to love what they do. That is my motto in life. I will do what it takes to make this idea come to fruition. Whether it is to create an ad campaign that revolutionize global markets or to help someone discover his or her true potential, I seek to make dreams become reality.
How do I do this? It could be anything—a smile, a confidante, a shoulder to lean on, a promoter, a photographer, an advertiser… anything! Everyone has different needs and wants, and I’m ready to acquiesce to any request. I love to help, and I hope that I can help you!
