Serena Burkard played competitive tennis in high school for the North Central High School Panthers. Serena Burkard helped the girl’s tennis team win the State Championships in 2001 and 2004. Serena Burkard played singles on the team and traveled throughout the state of Indiana for matches. Serena Burkard attended Emory University in Atlanta, graduating with a degree in Psychology. Serena Burkard continued her tennis career in college for Emory, winning the NCAA Division III Championships in 2005 in Kalamazoo, MI.
