Serene Mireles

I am a UX designer with 19 years of design experience located in Milwaukee, WI. I create clean, modern, intuitive user-centered websites and interfaces. I enjoy continuous learning, taking on new challenges, and using design to solve problems.

For the past 7 years I’ve focused on web design, UX design, UI design, and front end development. I enjoy user research, creating personas and user journeys, prototyping, UI design, and I'm fascinated by the psychological and human mind aspect of UX design.

I'm currently working on the Web Client team (Titanium). We're porting the Smart Client desktop app to the web, and making small UX/UI improvements.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband Carlos and I have three kids, Liana (7), Lucia (5), and Carlos Solomon aka Sol aka Goodman aka Goody (5 months). We love summer and spend most of it outside on our deck, playing in the yard, or somewhere along Lake Michigan.

I also enjoy interior design. I'm obsessed with anything midcentury modern. I'm a collector by nature, so I enjoy filling my midcentury ranch with vintage treasures–half the fun is in the hunt, and every piece has its own story. I have a true appreciation for beauty, function, and design.
